Breanna Pita is an Australian artist. She loves to create whimsical, magical illustrations filled with wholesomeness and happiness.

She started selling her illustrations at market stalls 10 years ago in 2014, selling handmade cards, prints, sculptures and handmade clay jewellery.

After years of gaining experience as a graphic designer and in marketing, she decided to start a store selling plant pots in 2020 during lockdowns, building the website and fulfilling orders on an old ipad, it was very successful as the indoor plant market was booming in the lockdowns, but decided she wanted to sell her illustration work instead.

At the end of 2021, she started breannapita.com.au, initially just selling prints. Mid 2022, she used all profits made from selling prints, cards, paintings and concrete statues to purchase sublimation machinery to print mugs, tote bags and other gifts in-house.

She has been stocked in stores in Melbourne and Sydney. But took a break from wholesaling and selling online in 2023 to pursue a course in UX Design.

Once she finished the course, she went for a trip to New Zealand where her creative cup was refilled and she was bursting with inspiration from Hobbiton, Weta Workshop, Queenstown, Tiri Tiri Matangi, Milford Sound and Walter Peak.

She decided to rebrand and reopen the store in May 2024, with a new direction and motivation to make her best creative works yet.

Alongside her husband David and her dog Evie (featured in the new 2024 logo), she hopes to expand her product lines and also get stocked in many stores across Australia, with the ultimate goal of brand partnerships and writing and illustrating YA and children's novels.

She uses a combination of hand painted works in watercolour and then to bring out the vibrancy of the colours, she then digitally paints in additional elements.

Often she can be found in her studio painting away with her small dog Evie resting at her feet and too many mugs of tea for just one person.
